Finekid’s Early Years Program is based on the learning areas that are at the heart of the Finnish National Core Curriculum integrated with Indian national education policy with elements of Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. Mentees are taught via activities and experiences and there is no use of books and home works. Teachers are equipped to bring about the best out of children.
When a child is free to learn something while they play, the development of bonds, logic and reasoning and knowledge becomes unforced and enjoyable.
Our future-ready early years education develops important future skills of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication to prepare kids for their next stage of education and an unknown future.
Each child is unique! Our curriculum, teacher training, right student-teacher ratio and technology enable our school to provide personalized education for each child.
Our philosophy follows activity-based learning. Learning by doing! At Finekids, we have gone beyond the textbooks and have created Activity-Guides that enable teachers to deliver topics in more than one way to support the kid’s.
We provide opportunities for the children to start identifying and understanding their emotions and introduce tools to regulate the same. Age-appropriate activities that increase focus and learning potential and definitely the happiness index!
The learning environment is an essential pillar of early childhood education. The day-to-day environment and the resources in the environment influence a child’s growth and mindset.
It is a pedagogical management tool to enhance the entire learning process and enable personalized learning. It supports assessment, family engagement and shows the development timeline of each child.
Every Finekid’s teacher goes through professional development training conducted by using Finnish methodology before the school opening and continuous support & training are provided periodically to keep our teachers up-to-date. Teachers are empowered in this pedagogy to make decisions that best support the child's learning.
Finekids Assessment Rubric takes inputs from teacher’s observations, self-evaluation and peer evaluation. Each learning area is divided into developmental domains, which outline broad categories of children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. It ensures that assessment is NOT a judgment but rather a measurement of forward movement and the level of support needed to progress. This evaluation is converted into a developmental review report for the parents.
